Our school choir were fantastic, singing their hearts out at the Young Voices concert at the Genting arena in Birmingham. They had such a long day with a 10pm final drop off, but it did not dampen their spirits and they really enjoyed their experience.
They then visited the local community centre to entertain some of our elder generation with songs and games. They are a real credit to our school and great ambassadors.
Mrs McGrath is busy with the renewal of our science quality mark, she has been spending some time at the way we teach science in our school and how it can be improved. She has lots of activities planned over the next term including some science themed school trips and our termly INSPIRE event. We are looking for donations of shoeboxes with detachable lids, as we are all going to be designing and building our own car, capable of carrying a passenger and travelling in a straight line! Parents I hope you are ready for the challenge!
Our Y/4 football team did well in their tournament despite the heavy hail and rain that the weather threw at us. They were supportive and work well as a team - great prospects for the future of football in the school.
Keep consulting our diary dates in the newsletter which will keep you informed of upcoming events and remember you are always welcome to join us for our Friday celebration assemblies in the school hall.
