What a busy first half term we have had.  The children have to be commended with the way they have settled into their new classes and are applying themselves so well to the challenges set.
We have had our author visit from Billy Bob Buttons, and the children had an opportunity to write with him in two workshops.  We also had a visit to school all about World War 2, our visitors talked about experiences of their own families and brought the topic alive for the children.
Our Y2/3 class visited the Library for a workshop about WW1 and two of our classes visited Warwick Castle.
Our Y6 children also went to Alton Castle for a retreat day all about their upcoming Confirmation.
It has certainly been a very busy half term.
We have lots planned for the second part of our Autumn term and I know the children will be looking forward to the festive elements on the calendar. please keep checking our weekly newsletter for details of upcoming events.
