It's wonderful to see all our children back to school looking so smart. It is also a privilege to welcome our new children to school. Our school family looks forward to sharing our faith, love and knowledge.
I am delighted that our school is growing and more and more children are joining us at SS Peter and Paul. It does mean that quite a few of our year groups are now fully subscribed. Our Nursery unit is also becoming extremely busy and places are limited. Please do enquire at the school office for primary places and with Mrs Ansell our Nursery manager for nursery places.
It was great to see how successful our Year six class were in their SATS. 100% of the class gained at least expected standard in Reading and 88% gained at least expected standard maths and writing. This puts us at least 10% above national and is testimony to the hard work and passion to succeed from our children and staff.
We have set our new priorities for school development this year. Some of our points are fed from our recent GOOD Ofsted report and others come from our review of school development from staff, governors, children and parental questionnaires.
Our New school development priorities can be viewed in the school development plan section of this website.
I look forward to working with you over the next year to provide the best educational experience for your children, here at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School.
God Bless
