October 2020

23/4/2020

Dear Parents
We are now in our last week of this half term and I must mention about how well the children have returned to school after their extended COVID break.  They have all settled back into school life, reminding us how hard they work and how much they enjoy spending time with their friends.  Although school may be different to what they are used to (with us working in bubbles), there is still a buzz in each classroom and happy children eager to share their work with you.
I cannot commend the children and the staff for the way they have embraced all of the changes and strive for a safe and happy school.
I would also like to thank parents for adhering to the many new rules we have in place in school such as one way systems and staggered collection times.  You have all accepted these new procedures.  It is important also to remember the social distancing rules with fellow parents,  when picking up your children.
We do gather together as a whole school community for our weekly celebration assemblies and it is lovely to allow the children to see into each others classrooms.  We have a virtual whole school harvest festival on Wednesday morning and I look forward to another opportunity for our school family to come together.
Thank you all for your continued support
May God bless you
Mrs Faulkner
