Spring term

15/3/2018

Well what a busy spring term we have had.  Ofsted called in early February and we were pleased with the comments made by the inspector about our school.  We are immensely proud of our school community.  Our children work so hard and are kind and considerate to all.  It truly is a pleasure to be the head teacher of such a caring and hardworking school family.
Our Y3 children made their first confession alongside the Y3 pupils from St Josephs. They were very reverent and it was an honour to be able to share this special sacrament with them.  We keep them in our prayers as they prepare to receive Holy Communion in May.
Our sporting teams have been busy partaking in a range of sports and enjoying success.  Catch our sports news page for more details.
We have also hosted our successful INSPIRE science workshop with parents.  It was truly lovely to be able to see the children eager at work with the help of so many adults.  Thank you to all those who were able to join us.
The children have all been out and about enjoying trips such as Erasmus Darwin house and Wade street church.  There are more trips planned for our summer term including the Y6 residential at Standon Bowers.  Can I remind all parents to keep up to date with school news by reading our weekly newsletter.
