Welcome to 2017!
It's hard to think we are already a third of the way through our school year. This term is always busy and there are lots of events planned, keep up to date with the diary page in our weekly newsletter.
On the 26th January we welcome author Harriet Goodwin who will be sharing some of her books with the children and holding some workshops with our KS2 children. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn about the life of an author and give our children aspirations of their own.
We have some of our children going to the Genting arena on the 31st January to perform in the Young Voices concert. They have been practicing very hard and are very much looking forward to the big event.
On the 7th February we welcome Dan Callow and One Life Music for a whole school retreat day. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to take a day out of the normal timetable and have time to reflect and be thankful for all the gifts and opportunities we have.
We have our second INSPIRE workshop on the 14th February, the theme is Romeo and Juliet which our children are all studying this term. We look forward to welcoming lots of parents, and the children are really looking forward to having the opportunity to work with you in their classrooms.
We welcome all comments from parents and as part of our INSPIRE workshop we will ask for your feedback so we can consider these comments when we plan our next events.
Thank you for your continued support
