Welcome back

14/9/2017

Welcome back to our new school year.  The children have returned to school looking so smart. I'm so pleased to see no trainers being worn, just smart, black, school appropriate schools.
The children have really impressed us in their first few weeks back, they have been working very hard, impressing teachers new and old.  It makes me very proud.
The children  have been busy electing our school council this week and I'm looking forward to announcing names in Assembly, alongside out head boy and girl.
I would also like to congratulate all those children who successfully completed the Library reading challenge during the summer. Fantastic to see children with a love of reading and practice over the holidays makes them even better readers when they return to school in September.
We are introducing some new reading rewards this year as we want to encourage our children to read regularly at home and school.  Watch our newsletter for further information.
