Over this half term, we have really enjoyed linking our Geography work to our English text, Kensuke's Kingdom.
We found out where Japan is in the world, used latitude and longitude to describe the position of Japan, and other countries on a map, learned about how earthquakes occur and the impact they have on a location and identified the physical and human geography of Japan.
In our artwork we learnt how to mix paint to create different shade and tones and used these skills to create our own fabulous paintings in the style of Hokusai's Great Wave.
