Breakfast Club starts at 7:50 offering a choice of cereal or Toast after the can have a Waffle or a pancake. At 8:50am staff will take the children to their classrooms to start their school day.
At 3:00pm / 3:15 pm the children are collected from the Early Years Unit/classrooms and taken to the school hall. This provides you with complete peace of mind, as there is no additional travelling from day care to school.
Kids’ Club employs two members of staff who have a wealth of experience and qualifications in Early Years, we feel this is a big advantage for the younger children to have a familiar person when changing their routine. We offer you a professional, confidential and safe care club for your children. They are friendly and always available during sessions to answer any queries or concerns you may have.
At the end of Nursery/School the children are taken to the school Hall. A bell in the foyer alerts us to anyone waiting to enter. There is NO unauthorised access to the club. This means that the children are unable to roam the building unaccompanied. We plan our daily session with child interests in mind, we aim to keep the children occupied but allow them to relax at the end of a busy day or to do any homework they wish to do in school time. We are very flexible with our session times to fit in with your employment (shifts etc.) Sessions are to be paid for in advance on parent pay.
We display the coming weeks activities and what they have for tea in the school’s weekly newsletter issued every Friday and also have a Kid’s Club staff board in reception for you to see this information. This is to allow the children/parents to see what activities are coming up if you wish to book a place.
We provide the opportunity to use the school field and playground for a range of sports and games when the weather is nice. We also have our own small secure playground for children to free flow indoors and outside as they wish.
