Our school curriculum
At SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School, our curriculum is an inclusive curriculum that is designed to be accessed by all pupils. Our school curriculum allows children to be safe and happy in school and understand how to keep themselves and others safe. It empowers them to take risks without fear of failure and express and manage their own emotions. It raises the aspirations of our learners by offering a range of experiences. We provide children with the subject specific vocabulary and knowledge that allows them to build links and enhance learning. Learners take pride in their work and challenge themselves to do better.
Cycles are used in our school as we have mixed age classes and it prevents children studying aspects of the curriculum twice. 2023-24 is cycle 2 and 2024-25 will be cycle 1
